Hey there, I am a senior at Arlington and I plan to attend BGSU in the fall of 2018, for a middle childhood major. In my free time, I am an avid Netflix watcher, music listener, book obsessor, and dog lover. I decided to take this Media Writing class because I wanted to be able to bridge the technological gap between the school and community through writing articles on this website.

Hey, guys! I am 18 years old and currently a Senior at Arlington High School. After I graduate, I will be attending THE Ohio State University majoring in Athletic Training. In my free time, I like to hang out with my friends and family, play trombone in the band, sing in the choir and select ensemble, participate in honor societies and loud crowd, run track, play video games, or just try to get a decent workout in! I joined this class because I find writing to be something that I enjoy even though I rarely do it. While I will mostly be the "behind the scenes" guy, I am really looking forward to what I can write for you all!

Hello! I am a Senior at Arlington High School and plan to attend Ohio Northern University in the fall of 2018, double majoring in Business Marketing and Sociology. Throughout my years at Arlington, I have played volleyball, softball, and basketball and have been a member of Hancock Youth Leadership, Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership, Student Council, National Honor Society, and Science National Honor Society. I love staying active, playing with my dogs, visiting my Grandma, listening to music, hanging with friends, and watching Netflix! I joined this class because I think it would help me with my intended majors and I love coming up with creative new ideas, putting in the work to execute them, and seeing the immaculate and amazing results at the end.

Hi! I’m 15 years old, and a Sophomore at Arlington Local High School. As of now, I don’t have precise plans on what to do after high school, but I do know that I will work as hard as possible to attend college. So far, I have been a part of National Junior Honor Society, Quiz bowl, Choir, Select Ensemble, the All Brass Marching Band, Cheerleading, and Dance. I enjoy spending free time with my friends as well as reading and playing/listening to music. I joined this class so I could not only further my education on what it takes to be an author but also to be part of something bigger than myself. I love writing whenever I get the chance and I hope my interest shows through my work!

I am 15 and a Sophomore at Arlington Local High School.  I have been involved in the Arlington All Brass Marching Band, National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, Youth Group, and Cheerleading. After high school, I plan on going to college to pursue a career in the medical field, such as nursing or even a general surgeon. When I am not outside marching with the band or trying to memorize cheers, I am sleeping, eating, or watching Netflix. During lunch, a few friends and I make funny short videos and put them on social media. I really love hanging out and making videos with them! I sincerely enjoy writing as long as it’s not an essay for a class. I am hoping I can bring fun to the page, and to get to know what is going on around the school!

Howdy! I’m 16 years old and a Junior here at Arlington. I am Cheer Captain and am involved in Select Ensemble, Quiz Bowl, Loud Crowd, and many other activities at the school. I also volunteer at the Arlington Branch Library and help at my church. After graduating, I would like to go to college for English. In my free time, I like to read, watch too many movies and TV shows, listen to music, make puns and drink a lot of coffee. I wanted to be a part of this team because I love writing and aspire to be an editor someday. This class will hopefully give me the editing and writing experience I need to prepare me for college and my future.

I'm a Junior here at Arlington and involved in many activities. I'm a Cheerleader, a member of the All Brass, a Quiz Bowler, in Select Ensemble, and a vocal member of the Loud Crowd. After high school, I hope to attend OSU to study music and education and march in the band. I like to read books and watch movies. I also like to practice the many instruments I play. I took this class to hopefully learn and shed light on the “behind the scenes” aspects of the school and community.
