Quiz Bowl Tournament Runners-Up!

We would like to congratulate the Arlington High School Quiz Bowl Team in their 2019-2020 accomplishments! This year, the team made it all the way to the finals of their tournament, falling to Riverdale. The team left with the title of runner-up, and we couldn’t be more proud! The Hancock County High School Quiz Bowl Tournament is an incredible opportunity for quiz bowl students in the county to come together and compete for their titles through their knowledge and academic skills. Congratulations to the following members and their advisor, Mrs. Lisa Beall!

It is hard to believe but the time has arrived for our 1923 Arlington School Building to be taken down.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to take down the building.

The demolition of the building will begin on Monday, June 22.  Crews will work extended hours to get the building down in a short two-week period rather than a longer two-month period.

For those interested, outside of the construction fence, there will be a pile of bricks where you are welcome to take a souvenir brick.  Bricks will only be available for two weeks and will then be cleaned up.
