Winter Activities For All

By: Bridget Barrientos

As the holidays pass and the cold weather rolls in, you might be stuck inside your house wondering what to do. Here's a list of activities you can do inside to avoid the freezing weather:

-Catch up on sleep. Depending on what you do and how busy your day usually is, you may or may not be tired. Catching up on sleep can make a long day go by faster if you don’t have anything important to do.
-Clean around the house. If you're inside your house with nothing to do, you may consider cleaning. This gives you something to do while staying inside your warm house and avoiding the cold.
-Play video games or watch a new show on TV. This allows you to pass time with something that you find entertaining. You can catch up on the games or shows that you have been missing out on. This can be done with the family or alone depending on the type of person you are.
-Board games. Who doesn’t love a good board game with the family or a bunch of friends?! Playing board games will provide a fun time or a great bonding experience for the people that you are playing with.
-Take some time to be alone and do something you love to do. If you’ve been inside your house the whole day with your family, you might need some alone time by yourself to do the things you enjoy. These things might be sitting by the fire while reading a book, listening to music, playing video games, or if you have a different interest in mind, go ahead and do it.
-If you really feel the need to go outside and enjoy the cold weather, and if there's snow on the ground, go build a snowman or have a snowball fight with someone!

These are just a few things out of the many things you can do inside while it's cold outside. All that matters is that you’re having fun inside!
