Day one will consist of browsing through Times Square, dinner at The Playwright Tavern, and visiting the top of the Rockefeller Center. Day two, we will be visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and the 9/11 Memorial. After that we will have dinner at Ping’s Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown, then will have time to shop and browse through Chinatown and Little Italy, and finally will be attending the Off Broadway Show “Blue Man Group”. Day three, we will visit Central Park, visit the American Museum of Natural History, have dinner at Carmine’s Restaurant, attend a performance of “Aladdin”, and have a group photo in Times Square. The last day, we will visit Grand Central Station, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral before finally heading home. Safe travels to all of the seniors on their trip!

It is hard to believe but the time has arrived for our 1923 Arlington School Building to be taken down.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to take down the building.

The demolition of the building will begin on Monday, June 22.  Crews will work extended hours to get the building down in a short two-week period rather than a longer two-month period.

For those interested, outside of the construction fence, there will be a pile of bricks where you are welcome to take a souvenir brick.  Bricks will only be available for two weeks and will then be cleaned up.

Please mark August 1st at 10:00 am on your calendar for our dedication to the new building.
