March Senior of the Month

Julia Stewart 

Family

Julia is the daughter of Andy and Kristy Stewart. She has four siblings, Alyssa, Drew, Skylar, and Emily. Julia’s favorite family tradition is celebrating Christmas and watching The Sound of Music.While growing up she loved baking all kinds of sweet treats with her grandmother.


Her role model is her grandfather.


“He worked really hard his whole life and was always smiling. There was never a doubt he was happy. He also has lived a life to be proud of. He has so many cool stories. He is one of the kindest people I know and always showing Jesus through his actions.”


Extracurricular Activities, Volunteering, and Work

Julia played volleyball for two years, basketball all four years, and ran track one year. She also participated in travel basketball her freshmen year. In addition to sports, Julia is very active in 4-H and the Hancock County fair. She is also a member of the youth group at her church. National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Prom Committee, Yearbook, Loud Crowd, and FCA are also among the long list of groups she is involved in! Julia makes time for babysitting and plans to work at the hospital while in college. She has volunteered at her church helping with Vacation Bible School and working in the nursery. Through 4-H, she volunteered planting flower beds and cleaning up the outdoors. Julia has been an office helper and teacher aide while in high school as well.

Enjoyment and the Future….

In her spare time, Julia can be found listening to music, reading, and enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite memories of high school have been the football games and Loud Crowd! She is looking forward to making some great memories these last few months of her senior year. Julia plans to complete the nursing program at the University of Findlay and earn her master’s in nursing in order to become a nurse practitioner. She is determined to continue working while in college in hopes to come out debt free. After school, she wants to be in a financial position where she can start a family.
