How to Make this New Year Yours

January 9, 2023

It doesn’t always take a resolution to make a new year good. Sometimes a resolution can become too constricting and they cause you to be more likely to give them up. In a survey with 4,000 people, 43% are expected to give up their resolutions. However, if it is easier to just make lots of small goals or just decide along the way, that's great too!

When it comes to your goals for the year, they are ultimately yours to finalize however you want. Though If it’s easier for you to achieve something by focusing on it solely and making it most important you can do that too, it’s not really up to anyone to tell you that you must do something a certain way. There’s really no “right” way to have goals in life, because we’re all different, some needing different ways of achievement than others. We always will be; which is amazing! Perhaps you can focus on one small goal. According to research, it takes 21 days to make a habit stick, so perhaps you could come up with a resolution and try it out for 21 consistent days.

So in the end, make this New Year yours by realizing that it really is your choice in the end to decide what an achievement filled year looks like to you! Good luck!
