WIN: Leaving a Legacy

November 8, 2022

Leader in Me has been a part of Arlington High School for four years. This year the WIN (What I Need) groups were chosen by the students to try to get everyone to be motivated and participate in their group. Throughout this school year, many of these groups have been working on lots of different activities!

The Junior Lighthouse Team has started a coffee bar! They sell hand-crafted coffees in the morning from 7:45 to 8:15 every Friday. The Cooking Collaborator group is going to be selling baked goods Friday mornings as well. The Spirit Squad has also accomplished so much since the beginning of the year! They decorate everyone's locker for their birthdays and plan all of the fun spirit weeks. The Spirit Squad also organizes all of the events at every pep rally. The Arlington Advocates group held one of the three blood drives that they are planning to have this school year. The first blood drive was held on Friday, October 14 and was very successful. Many members of the Arlington Advocates group volunteered to help the blood drive run smoothly and 23 people came to donate! Also, the Fun Fitness Fanatics planned their second-annual Turkey Trot for next week!

As you can see, we are off to a great start this year as the students continue to #LeaveALegacy.
