All-County Choir and Band Honors Festival

On Sunday, February 19th, a few of our Arlington students participated in the annual All-County Choir and Band Honors Festival. This is a county wide concert where students from different schools get a chance to all sing together. A total of 106 students were part of the Honors Band and Choir this year, and Arlington held 10 of those spots.

 The students from Arlington High School participating were:

We asked some of the students what their favorite part about all county was and these were their answers:

“I love meeting new people and making new friends.”

“My favorite part is getting together with people who love to sing as much as I do and being able to perform for everyone.”

“I love that the music is new and gives me a challenge.”

“Getting to play with a bigger band and have more tuba players to play with to help cover up mistakes and help each other during the performance.”
