Veteran's Day

By: Bridget Barrientos

Veteran’s Day is this Sunday, November 11th and Arlington School is once again putting on an assembly; however, it will be held this Friday, November 9th, honoring the Veterans for all the work that they've done to serve our country. There will be a breakfast for all Veterans at 8:00 AM in the cafeteria and will be served by Mr. Beck’s (who has also put the assembly together) Economics class. After the breakfast, at 9:00 AM, the Veterans are invited to the Cable Auditorium along with the entire high school to start the assembly. This year, Arlington has partnered with The Flag City Honor Flight organization to help send Veterans to Washington D.C. so they can visit the memorials of the wars that they have served in. With this, they will be able to connect with other Veterans and share their experiences while they were serving our country.
