Send a Vet to Washington, D.C.

By: Kobie Parrish

Do you want to help support our Veterans in the community for this up-and-coming Veterans Day? The Arlington school is proud to announce that we are accepting monetary donations to help send a Veteran to Washington D.C. The Arlington Local School has gotten in touch with Flag City Honor Flight to help raise money to send a Veteran to Washington D.C. The main goal of this program is to fly Veterans out to Washington D.C. and be with others, like themselves, to be able to visit the many memorials set up in their honor. By donating money, you are making sure that Veterans are not forgotten and that their sacrifices will always be remembered. If you would like to make a monetary donation to make this dream come true, there will be boxes in both the elementary and high school office. The boxes will be kept in the office until Nov. 8th. Thank you!
