Making a "Change"

By: Adelyn Lafferty

During the last week, the French National Honor Society put on a change war to help raise money for Heifer International. Heifer International’s mission is to work with communities to create income, empower women, care for the earth, and ultimately end world hunger and poverty by providing livestock and training to struggling communities.  Each class period was named after an animal that is able to be bought through the organization. Second period, Les Cochons (The Pigs), and third period, Les Canards (The Ducks), won this year. In total, $396.73 was raised between all of the French and Spanish students. To learn more about Heifer International, go to the following link: Thank you to all the students and teachers who donated!
