Holy MOLEy! It's Mole Day!

By: Morgan Wykes

Mole Day is a day that all chemists look forward to, especially our chemistry teacher, Mrs. Cortez. The reason why all chemists look forward to this day is because it is a national holiday thanks to Avogadro, the man that created Mole Day. This year, all Chemistry I and II students were required to make a Mole Day shirt with a picture of a mole, a pun or joke, a problem involving moles, and the date. For fun and for bonus they could make a mole and wear it on their shoulder all day. They also could do a fun bonus packet that involved moles and go around the school to do different activities.
