Here Comes Homecoming

By: Abbie Sheets

It’s the night where the students can dress up in their fancy attire, take adorable pictures, and dance the night away. But it’s not all about the actual dance, right? You have to recognize the events leading up to it. They’re just as exciting! Here are some upcoming activities involving Homecoming:

   September 17-22: Homecoming Spirit Week

      Monday: Pajama Day

      Tuesday: Jersey Day

      Wednesday: Disney Day

      Thursday: U.S.A. Day

Friday: Crazy Red and Black Day

September 18: Homecoming Parade; 6:30 pm & Powder Puff Football Game immediately following ($2 admission)

September 21: Homecoming Football Game w/ McComb; 7 pm (Crowning of king and queen prior to the game)

September 22: Homecoming Dance; 8-11 pm; High School Gym

Homecoming is an exciting time of the year. It gives the students a chance to step back from their school work and extracurricular activities and enjoy themselves. I hope you enjoy this Homecoming season, and go Red Devils!
