Drive Safely!

By: Adelyn Lafferty

As the year winded down, so did the temperatures! But just because everything is freezing, doesn’t mean life has to! All of us have places to go, things to do, and people to see. All of these things involve DRIVING! It is important to have a “safety kit” to keep you warm and safe in case of an emergency during this cold winter.

Here are some things you should have:

-A blanket

-Hand/Foot Warmers

-Hats and Gloves

-At LEAST half a tank of gas at all times

-Dress warm when you are going to be driving

-A scraper/brush to clean windows

-Jumper Cables

-First Aid Kit

-Weight in the back of your car for traction (Such as rock salt bags)

Stay warm and drive safely! :)
